The trailer is fitted with an electric winch. This is powered by the on-board battery of the trailer. The trailer must be switched ON via the master switch on the electrical control hub. The winch is powered via the Anderson plug on the front cross member of the trailer.

The winch has a ‘freewheel’ setting to allow manual pullout of the synthetic rope. See separate instruction manual for winch operation.

The winch can be controlled via the handled winch remote located in the holster also on the inside of the LH hatch door. There is a cable that allows cabled connection between the remote and the winch, or the controller can be used wirelessly. To activate the wireless functionality, press the small round button on the face of the remote handset and the wireless led indicator will illuminate.

The winch is then controlled by the rocker switch on the handset.
